What documents do I need to submit if I'm a first time applicant?

What documents do I need to submit if I'm a first time applicant?

You will need to submit:

1. A picture of the front of your temporary driving permit (from AA Ceylon)
2. A picture of yourself
3. A picture of your passport

Pictures taken from a mobile phone are fine as long as it's clear.

If you do not have a temporary permit from AA Ceylon you will not be able to rent a vehicle, you can apply for your temporary permit through Rento click here to apply. RENTO reserves the right to reject/cancel your account without prior notice because of your criminal background, driving record or any other reason.

Where can I pick up my vehicle?

Each of our vehicles have pickup locations in different parts of the country, you can select the most convenient pickup location for you. Please note that the vehicle has to be dropped off at the same location it was picked up from.

Is it safe?

We make sure all our vendors keep all vehicles in amazing and safe condition, our top priority is the safety of our customers.

Can I go anywhere with the vehicle?

You may travel where you want during the time period you have rented the vehicle for. Explore the country and all its amazing views!!

What if I get into an accident?

If something does happen, please contact the vendor you received the bike from immediately. and inform our team as well.

What if I want to cancel my booking?

We offer cancellations depending on how close you are to your booking start date as we need to be considerate of both you and our vendors.

Do I have to pay any charges during my trip?

When applying for your temporary driving permit you will need to submit 4 pictures which are as follows: You will have to bear any/all charges such as parking tickets, highway charges, petrol etc during your trip.

How old do I have to be to book a trip on Rento?

To book a vehicle on Rento you need to be above 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. Please note that a temporary license such as a learners permit will not be accepted
